Good relationship between people between functional/technical – close ties. So I can get the definitions to what people want from another person in the office. Access/security is good for us Query is good for what I need it for. Some reporting from MOIBUS is good. Journal is working well. PAF is good. CRR works well. Transaction checklist is working well. In income statement, I use reports 2 and 3 and these are good. (But I worry that maybe I can’t count on these being accurate – because some people say Report 8 is the best – I would like to see them match at some point.). Sales and service is actually easier now than it used to be. MOIBUS is not working well for some things – some reports, you can get but don’t know all the people in it – some reports have some of the data and not all the data – it is difficult to use. For grant reporting – all the data aren’t there – there are a lot of cells for grant data form that you don’t complete – there are over 100 pages of instructions - use to have less than a page and took me about 30 minutes. Everything is working well because I bypass PeopleSoft. There is a view called PS УЈпфappEmployees (for HR data) and this is NOT working. I have yet to find anyone who could use it. We couldn’t, so I went in and made our own table. Effective dating is a problem for reporting. Leave reporting is a problem. People don’t trust data – they call in and get it from me and it is very difficult to read and understand. A lot of this would be solved if the leave dates were reported on the paycheck. When preparing vouchers and you get a venders name, you have to guess at the acronym that it is entered into the system – example: education might be ed or educ or edu – if it is not there, you have to go through all sorts of steps to put the vender in there. Because finance is in one place and HR in another, we have to build all sorts of steps to do report from both. There should be one place to go for HR and Finance reporting information. There is no education about what data is available and where and how to get it. When printing a voucher, it takes a long time to print and there is no indication that it is really going to print. Payroll – needs something to say that it has been done – or you will have to submit it twice. Need some validation that it has been done already. PAF – we need some time limit on when to stop paying people if they leave – it is easier to know what is being paid on each account. Lists are good. Create a data warehouse. Create data marts and as part of this you would have reporting structures Web application for leave reporting. Attempts on MOIBUS reporting have been unsuccessful – need to make it clearer. Need to look at what is feeding MOIBUS. Effort verification reporting is not working at all. Grant data form – we could highlight the cells that need completed. On procard side of it, the charges don’t appear for about a month. Slows things down. On accounting side if I want to go in and see who all is paid on a particular account, it is time consuming, and it is confusing. End dates need to be fixed – we don’t use them because there is no functionality to them – would require lots of data entry for not too much good.
