Undergraduate Six-Year Graduation Rates and First-Year Success/Retention Rates, 2003

The Student Right-to-Know Act of 1990 requires all institutions participating in any student financial assistance program under Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965 to disclose graduation rates to current and prospective students. While this requirement is not effective until after the year 2000, all institutions now routinely report graduation rate information to the Department of Education using the Graduation Rate Survey (GRS). The graduation and transfer rates reported here have been calculated for each fall's entering class of first-time, full-time, degree-seeking freshmen, in accordance with the definitions established by the Student Right-to-Know Act and incorporated in the GRS.
