Dr. Choi Visits the Capitol & New Member Meetings

Tuesday morning Dr. Choi visited the Capitol to meet with incoming Senators and several new House Members. During those meetings he discussed higher education funding, NextGen, and policies that are set to be hot topics this coming session. In addition to the meetings Tuesday, the Office of Government Relations has spent most of the week at the Capitol meeting with newly elected legislators and sharing information regarding our four campuses, research and outreach through our Extension Offices. We have provided members our priorities sheet, outlined funding requests for FY22 and discussed policies that will be headed through the process in the next couple weeks.
