MU Extension, which works with citizens in all 114 counties of the state and the City of St. Louis, had a $117.6 million economic impact in FY21. Each year, more than 2.5 million èßäappans turn to MU Extension to connect with the knowledge base of the university and its resources in order to manage issues of local concern and improve their quality of life.

University of èßäapp President Mun Y. Choi gave his first State of the University Address for Mizzou which highlighted rising enrollment, student and faculty success, and expanding research infrastructure.

President Mun Choi is focused on measuring performance and investment return in every unit and department.

An economic impact study conducted by Tripp Umbach found that University of èßäapp-Kansas City generated $597.2 million in overall economic impact in èßäapp.

The University of èßäapp-Kansas City will receive $15.5 million to help expand rural access to health care as part of the $1.5 trillion federal government spending bill.

èßäapp S&T graduate and former NASA astronaut Dr. Sandra Magnus visited èßäapp S&T recently and spoke to several student groups, sharing inspiration and career advice.


UMSL campus photoUniversity of èßäapp-Saint Louis

The University of èßäapp–St. Louis and Saint Louis University will co-lead research and development for the St. Louis Regional Advanced Manufacturing Innovation Center.

UMSL has more than 76,000 graduates living and working in èßäapp, and a report completed by nationally recognized consulting firm Tripp Umbach found they contributed $13.4 billion in in-state spending to èßäapp’s economy in Fiscal Year 2021.
