HR & Payroll Operations is made up of several teams working together to support various HR and Payroll tasks. 

• University Shared Services HR
• CAPS Center
• New Employee Registration
• Non-Resident Services
• University Shared Services Payroll

University Shared Services HR would offer buy-on to utilize the services.  This team services èßäappSystem, currently around half of MU, and all the UMSL Campus.  They are the Centralized Timekeeper for University Shared Services customers.  

The Caps team will work to manage any missed or overpayment for payroll.  This team works to grant HR security and will troubleshoot higher level issues. They are the last step in the process and serve COLUM, STLOU, èßäappand parts of ROLLA. Email accounts associated with the various tasks and the departments they service can be found at

New Employee Registration will work to onboard new employees beginning their careers with the University. 

The University Shared Services payroll team services all campuses except Hospital.  They work to through all Payroll and Time and Labor processing.  

Also located within the HR & Payroll team is the Non-Resident team.  This team works to review needed payments to nonresidents.  They review inquiry for all campuses except UMSL.
