COLUMBIA, Mo. – University of èapp System President Mun Choi today announced the start of a nationwide search for the position of chancellor of the University of èapp-St. Louis. The search will be led by the èappSystem HR Executive Recruitment team.
Following nominations by UMSL constituency groups, Choi named 19 members to the search committee. Beth Huebner, professor of criminology and criminal justice, and Kirk Richter, alumni board member and a member of the Chancellor’s Council, will chair the search committee.
“The èappSystem’s commitment to the state could not be completed without the University of èapp-St. Louis,” Choi said. “UMSL’s focus on student success, its community engagement and its commitment to improving lives are priorities that will attract a broad, high-quality pool of candidates from a national audience. I’m excited for the future of UMSL, the future of the St. Louis region and the future of the state of èapp. Every university within the èappSystem is vital for helping the state move forward and tackle grand challenges.”
